God Is Living Hope Ministries affirms the following foundational beliefs in full alignment with the doctrinal standards of the Korean Methodist Church and the evangelical Wesleyan tradition:

1. The Authority of the Scriptures

We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, infallible in all that they teach, and the supreme authority for faith and practice.

2. The Triune God

We believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal, who created all things and governs the world with justice, mercy, and truth.

3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.

4. Salvation by Grace through Faith

We believe that we are saved by God’s grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. This salvation is a gift, not earned by works, and is available to all who repent and believe.

5. The Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates the believer, sanctifies the heart, empowers for service, and produces the fruit of righteousness in the life of the believer.

6. Sanctification and Holiness of Life

In accordance with Wesleyan theology, we affirm the call to holiness of heart and life, and we pursue continual sanctification through obedience, prayer, and love.

7. The Church

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, disciple, and serve. The Church is entrusted with the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.

8. The Return of Christ and Eternal Hope

We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ. We await the resurrection of the dead and the final judgment, resulting in eternal life for believers and eternal separation from God for the lost.

This Statement of Faith represents the theological foundation of God Is Living Hope Ministries and conforms with the beliefs and doctrine of the Korean Methodist Church (KMC). All directors, staff, and volunteers are expected to uphold and affirm this confession of faith in all areas of ministry.
